I always have so many funny stories about my kids that I call friends and family to share.... and they all say, "you need to write that down so you don't forget it" and I always intend to but then don't think about it again. Since I'm on my laptop pretty frequently, I decided that instead of writing it down, I'll just 'BLOG' it so I can keep track of the funny/silly things that they do and say.
My oldest, a girl, is named Claudia. She is FUNNY and smart and loves to push people's buttons to get a reaction from them (especially me). She is a pistol and very rarely takes no for an answer which gets her into a lot of trouble around here. She has 4 Webkinz; Sparkily (aka Sparkles) who is a unicorn, Squirrel-Squirrel who is a black poodle, iCarly, who is a bull-frog, and Furry who is a pink dog. They are all in my posession right now due to her inablility to 'do the right thing'. I'm hoping that things get better with her and she can earn them back. I realize that her refusal to take no for an answer is SO bad now as a 5 year-old, but will be a great quality as she gets older. I rarely question her ability to 'take care of herself'. She's a tough cookie. She's a girly-girl - loves anything glittery and pastel colors... frilly dresses, make-up, princesses, fairies, etc. But she's also rough and tumble. She loves to play in the mud and get dirty. I love this about her.
My youngest, Joey, is 3. He is the most loveable kid I've ever met. He follows directions pretty well and rarely gets into trouble... and when he does, he feels so bad and gets very upset. He's very sensitive and genuinely loving and caring. He's obsessed with Superheroes, especially Batman. He loves his sister and calls her a beautiful princess. On Easter, after I dressed her, he told her she looked beautiful and gave her a big hug and a kiss. When I started dressing him.... he said that he wanted to be her PRINCE.
