Harry MacLary

Joey got a book from his buddy Rowan for his 4th birthday> We both love reading it. Our favorite charachter is Schnitzel von Krumm (with a very low tum). I started calling Joey Schnitz!

Hospital

They both mispronounce the word hospital... they say HOSIBLE.

Buttsie

My mom used to always call the kids bums 'buttsie'. Claudia got confused when she was little and called the FRONT buttsie and it just stuck. The back is coolie (Italian word that means butt) and the front is buttsie. When Claudia became 'aware' of the physiological differences between she and Joey, she started calling his a 'MOVING BUTTSIE'.

But, Joey has since named his 'my tail'. He seriously thought when he was smaller that it was a tail just like a dog has.

Tic Tac

Claudia used to call a tic tac a "tic tock' and Joey, until recently, called them 'tic tac toe's.

Jusk-appear

When Joey took swimming lessons in the fall of 2009, his instructor, Mr. Henry would go under the water and stay under for a little while. Joey would tell me about it, passionately, and told me that Mr Henry "JUSKAPPEARED".

RumpleSkinSkin

They call Rumplestiltskin... RumpleSkinSkin.

When Joey was 2.....

He used to say nishe and coshie... instead of Nice and Cozy, it was precious. He also once licked my leg and told me he gave me a 'weg wet wiwwie'.

Tickle-icious

Every night before bed, when Joey and I cuddle, we tickle each other and call it Tickle-icious. He also gives wet willies and we tickle each others bald pippies (underarms).

a 'founsand'

I made crummy penne pasta with sauce and broccoli sauteed in garlic and olive oil for dinner. My kids went nuts... loved it. Joey told me that I was a better 'cooker' than a FOUSAND chefs. Then this morning, he told me that I was so beautiful... more beautiful than a FOUSAND princesses. He's such a doll face.

Oh, and they have discovered Club Penguin. Claudia was playing on the kitchen computer and Joey in the office. They were playing the same game and kept screaming to one another to try and 'find' each other and go certain places in the game. It was really cute and funny!

'piss'appear

A few years ago, Claudia couldn't say disappear so for about 6 months or so, she would say that something 'pissapeared'.

She also used to call McDonalds "DickDonalds". Not sure I ever laughed so hard.

Joey calls the highway the "high road".

Sophia

There is a little girl in Claudia's class named Sophia. Her last name is Shawwa which is really difficult for Joey to remember. He's been calling her Sophia Shawwawwa (like chihuahua). I keep making him say it!

Basagna

My mother used to make chicken casserole that is fabulous and Claudia LOVES it. She tells me that it's the only kind of 'Basagna' that she likes. I think that because it's served in a casserole dish she thinks it's Lasagna!

Chit Chat
